Meet the Team

Dr Tom Quilty – Vet

Dr Tom arrived in the Pilbara in April 2020 from his native New South Wales. He divides his time between Tom Price, Newman and Paraburdoo and provides veterinary care to a wide variety of animals from horses, cattle, dogs and cats all the way down to exotics and pocket pets.

When he is not looking after animals he loves to head to the coast to surf, fish and explore our state of Western Australia.

Tom is the proud dad of a golden retriever puppy Sunny who goes on all his adventures with him!

Pets and Vets - Newman - Holly Patching

Hollie Patching – Vet Nurse

Hollie has been a part of the Newman team since 2016 and has lived in the Pilbara for most of her life. A childhood dream was to work with animals and as she grew older, her passion and love for them also grew!

Her involvement with animals ranges from fostering puppies and dogs, to caring and raising wildlife, as well as raising orphaned goats, foals, calves and camels. Hollie appreciates working in a rural town and creating long lasting relationships within the community.

Hollie cares for 4 horses of her own, 3 goats and 3 beautiful dogs named Sage (Rescue Kelpie Cross), Willow (Neapolitan Mastiff) and Dozer (Cane Corso). Outside of working, she enjoys going 4WD’ing, finding water holes to swim with the dogs and catching up with friends.

Amy spends all of her free time with her Joey’s in the backyard or hanging with her best bud Oscar (Amy’s first foster well Fail from Safe).

She also likes to go for bush walks, yoga, camping and travelling.
